A dated kitchen receives new cabinets, finishes, lighting, color, and a half bath. The hallway was reworked to provide a larger opening between the kitchen and dining room. New French doors and a new brick porch connect the dining room to a previously underutilized yard. Together these moves create an efficient and flexible kitchen and dining experience which flows naturally to the yard. All new interior and exterior elements -- cabinets, trim, doors and porch -- were designed to be compatible with the existing historic home.
