KEEPER COFFEE

Keeper Coffee, a beloved Portland coffee shop and restaurant, occupies the two-story north wing of our Historic Milwaukie City Hall project. Previously city hall offices and a courtroom, reimagining the historic city hall into Keeper Coffee required a full interior gut renovation, a new commercial kitchen, new stairwell, and basement storage and coolers. Taking inspiration from their original location and classic cafe design, Keeper Coffee showcases a timeless and refined aesthetic through custom tile flooring, wainscoting throughout, a calming color palette, and refurbished vintage elements, such as the order counter, upstairs room divider wall, and vintage furniture pieces throughout. Exterior improvements include a new dining patio, and accessible entry ramp and stair to a new entry door.
