Five units of affordable townhomes for first time home buyers. These are the first phase of a 20 unit program. Most units have 3 bedrooms, and all have private yards, providing family size living at an urban density of 40 units per acre. Due to the structural independence of each townhouse, the unit module was able to be flipped allow for flexibility across a variety of site conditions, while breaking up physical and visual bulk on the site. Despite achieving a high level of density on a regular lot size, this project speaks to our firm’s commitment to design contextually appropriate infill, sensitive and respectful to existing neighbors and conditions.
