PFRIEM FAMILY BREWERS
pFriem Family Brewers, an award-winning brewery originally located in Hood River, occupies two stories of our Historic Milwaukie City Hall project. Previously Milwaukie's fire station and city hall offices, the historic city hall underwent a full interior gut remodel to become pFriem's new home. The adaptive reuse project includes three custom curving bars, three distinct dining areas, a full commercial kitchen, new stairwell, and basement storage and coolers. Many features of the historic fire house were kept - the original overhead doors of the fire station are embraced as a link to the expansive outdoor patio, and the fire pole was incorporated into the bar designs and is now used to hold the bar tap lines. Exterior improvements include utilizing the fire station driveway as a large outdoor dining area, complete with a new pergola.
